A Valentine’s Party was held on February 12, 2014 at the Community Center for the Community-Based Littles and their BIGS.   They all enjoyed delicious snacks, Valentine cookies donated by Cindy Marquez, and great games of  Valentine bingo, and  prizes.

The Community-Based Program is the traditional one-to-one mentoring program of Big Brothers Big Sisters.  It is offered to children ages 6-18 who live with one parent, grandparents, extended family members, or who are in foster care. Children in this program are matched with a Big Brother or Big Sister who meets with them outside of the school setting  to pursue common interests and attend agency-sponsored events and activities. These matches spend a minimum of four hours together monthly.  Please call 364-6171 to volunteer or  for more information.
